THE VAULT

COMPETITION / GAME SHOW

LOGLINE

A thrilling new game show where teams of three attempt to rob a staged bank. You get to keep all the money you get away with, but if you get caught, you lose everything.

SYNOPSIS

The Vault is a 30-minute, self-contained, format game show in which contestants in teams of three attempt to pull off a heist inside a staged bank.

The bank will be filled with actors playing various characters, from bank tellers and patrons, to security guards, and occasionally even undercover and off-duty police officers.

Each actor has set rules they must follow that dictate their response based on the situation to ensure fairness.

Contestants enter the bank with the goal of escaping with as much money as possible, all while avoiding being caught or shot in the process.

In order to win, at least one of the contestants must make it to one of the designated “safe zones” outside of the bank. The contestants only receive the money they can make it into the safe zones with.

Once they’re in the safe zone, the bundles of money captured will be tallied up. Some bundles will be '“marked”, and will have colored bills in their midst signifying that the particular bundle has no monetary value.

After all the money is tallied up, the contestants of that team split the winnings amongst themselves.

Once each episode is filmed, the entire heist is edited into a cinematic masterpiece, including VFX for bullet hits and muzzle flashes, sound design and cinematic music, color grading, and more, to perfectly encapsulate the story and intensity of the heist.

SETTING

The setting will take place in and around a staged bank. In each episode the bank’s security measures, layout, and even surrounding environment can change, creating new and unique challenges for each group of contestants.

The bank will be fully outfitted with cameras to record the heists as they’re underway.

The police arrives in wave. The longer the heist goes, the more intense police presence gets.

An undercover or off-duty cop can either be inside the bank before the heist, or may show up to the bank while the heist is in progress. There will only ever be one during each heist.
